Litigation can be expensive. Investigating claims, drafting and responding to pleadings and motions, attending hearings, taking depositions, prepping witnesses, preparing exhibits, and trying cases all take time and money. As a result, parties sometimes feel they cannot afford to pursue their claims even when they know they have been unfairly wronged – or defend themselves even when they know they are right. But things don’t have to be that way.

At Jacobson Law P.A., we take most of our cases on a contingency basis. That means that you won’t have to pay us any attorney’s fees unless we win for you.* When appropriate, we also offer hourly, flat-fee, and hybrid billing arrangements. In addition, depending on the legal claims asserted and the particular facts of your case, you may be able to recover some or all of your attorney’s fees and expenses from the other side.

*Depending on the terms of engagement, clients might be responsible for costs and expenses.
